Estrogen is a form of hormone therapy that contains a combination of estrogens.

In general, you can expect relief from your moderate to severe menopausal symptoms to begin quickly with Estrogen. You may begin to feel relief from hot flashes in 1 to 3 weeks.

Relief from vaginal symptoms - dryness, burning, and itching - may take 3 weeks.
Estrogen Recommendations
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take Estrogen exactly as directed.
The usual dose is one Estrogen tablet at the same time each day.
Estrogens should be used at the lowest dose possible for your treatment only as long as needed. You and your healthcare provider should talk regularly (for example, every 3 to 6 months) about the dose you are taking and whether you still need treatment with Estrogen.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal schedule. Do not take 2 doses at the same time.
Keep Estrogen at room temperature, away from heat and moisture.
Estrogen Precautions
Before taking Estrogen, tell your doctor if:
you are allergic to any medicines;
you currently have or have had certain cancers;
you had a stroke or a heart attack in the past year; or you have blood clots or liver problems;
you think you may be pregnant.
Estrogen Ingredients
Active ingredients: a mixture of conjugated estrogens, which are a mixture of sodium estrone
sulfate and sodium equilin sulfate and other components including sodium sulfate conjugates,
